A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY, Hector started his career with Marriott as Executive Sous Chef at the Doha Marriott Hotel in 2000.
He went on to hold several Executive Chef positions culminating in the flagship JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong in 2008. After holding further leadership roles in Food & Beverage and hotel operations including openings in Egypt, India, China, and Turkey, Hector joined the Europe Continental Lodging Services team as area director of operations for Eastern Europe, he is responsible for the F&B and Rooms operations of 50 properties in 14 countries.
Hector works closely with the property leadership teams to achieve operational excellence, drive F&B and rooms revenue, improve margins and develop talent. He also supports the continent discipline leads, global design and hotel owners on new projects and renovations.
